FOUNDER’S STORY

From real estate developer to data-driven problem solver.

Ryan Serrano’s family spent more than 20 years in the construction industry, giving him an early education in how homes are built and how properties should be evaluated. That experience naturally led him into property development and showed him how much knowledge goes into understanding a property beyond what appears in a listing.

Most homebuyers never receive that education. Yet they are expected to make one of the largest financial decisions of their lives using information that is often incomplete, fragmented or difficult to interpret.

Rattler was created to change that: an unbiased property intelligence report designed to give buyers the information and clarity needed to make educated decisions.

The idea began in 2024 with a question: How can buyers be connected with agents who will truly protect their interests?

That led to another: How can great agents be given better tools to protect their clients?

By 2026, the concept had evolved into property intelligence for homebuyers – bringing fragmented property information together into one clear report.

The core challenge was that the information required to truly understand a property is fragmented across hundreds of thousands of databases, records and systems throughout the country. Much of that information is inconsistent and difficult to normalize accurately, even with modern enterprise AI.

Rattler was built to solve that problem.
